My role

Conversion Optimiser, UX Strategist, Test Manager, Hands-on Implementation

Worked with

UX/UI Designer · Content Manager / Publisher

01Situation

On small screens the portfolio was hard to understand and the tools designed to help were almost invisible.

Mobile funnel without guidance

Users struggled to make sense of the offer.

Homepage without help

There was no direct entry into product selection.

Unused assets

Product Finder and Combine your own already existed but were barely linked.

02Complication

More guidance on a small screen also means more distraction. Finding that balance was the real question.

Hypothesis

Two teasers to Product Finder and Combine your own would increase interaction and conversion.

Goal

Combine orientation with a sense of control through self-configuration.

Open question

Would the additional elements become a distraction on mobile?

03Approach

An A/B test with two targeted teasers on homepage and overview pages, mobile only.

Version A

No teaser, conventional funnel.

Version B

Two teasers with direct routes to Product Finder and Combine your own.

Underlying idea

Combine your own connects clarity with control, a strong pattern on mobile.

04Results

What I take away from it

Small elements can create big leverage

Two teasers moved more than much larger redesign ideas before them.

Control activates

The ability to configure the offer yourself increases engagement and willingness to decide.

Measure which path works first

I now test early which guidance component actually converts and focus the experience around it.
